As part of Education Week and Mental Health Week, we are using this Thursday (May 10th) as a kick off to weekly coffee in our library.
We would like to invite parents/guardians to join us on Thursday’s from 9:00-9:30 a.m. or 3:00-3:30 p.m. to have coffee with Mr Haycock, Mrs Noack and Ms. Kathi, as well as connect with other Highview parents. Each week there will be different resources/handouts available for you to consider on a variety of topics.

The Upper Ottawa Valley and Pembroke OPP are hosting a Criminal Record Check Day on Saturday, May 12th from 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm at the Pembroke OPP Detachment (77 International Drive). 
To have a record check complete applicants will need:
-Two pieces of identification (i.e. a driver's licence and birth certificate, passport, outdoor card, etc...). Please know that health cards and SIN cards can not be accepted.

St. John Ambulance is offering the Babysitter’s Course on February 2nd, 2018 at 310 Mackay St. in Pembroke.  This course welcomes youth ages 10+. Participants will learn home alone safety tips, babysitting responsibilities and first aid tips. Cost is $60.
